So Long, Summer

My brother, his girlfriend, and I went exploring in a nearby river.

It's official, they stopped serving Summer Shandy on tap at my favorite bar, which means summer is coming to a close. I don't know how all of your summers were, but here in Minnesota our summer was way too short. It started off with rain, which lasted about two months. Then, unbearable heat, a miniature tornado that beat up my town and now the weather is just starting to get nice as summer is ending.

This beautiful weather has made me realize one thing, Fall is one of my favorite seasons. I love the cool mornings and nights, the evening light, bountiful farmers' markets, pumpkin lattes, and spice-scented candles. Even though I'll be sad to see the warm weather and flip-flops go, Fall brings new things to look forward to. I hope you all had a wonderful summer and have many adventures to look forward as the season changes.

You could stock up on Summer Shandy to make the summer last a little longer - even if it's just at home on a hot night watching movies about summer! :) I love fall, too, though....looking forward to it.
